Workshop | Trunfa (Traditional Sardinian Jew’s Harp) with Pietro Paolo Piredda e Patrizio Mura (Sardegna)

The trunfa is the traditional Sardinian Jew’s harp. During the workshop, Pietro Paolo Piredda will present the phases of constructing the instrument, learned orally from various generations of craftsmen in his family. The workshop will then focus on the repertoire of dances and, with the collaboration of Patrizio Mura, on accompanying singing in the traditions of Upper Gallura and other areas of Sardinia.
