Workshop | Folk songs from the Russian tradition with Anna Zhavoronkova (Russia)

An introduction to the repertoire of folk songs and dances from Northern Russia. Some songs will be presented and practiced, including the form of “raspevki” (nursery rhymes and musical ‘tales’). Additionally, traditional dances performed by Anna Zhavoronkova with instrumental accompaniment will be demonstrated.
