Bijan Chemirani

Bijan Chemirani is the youngest son of the esteemed Persian music maestro Djamchid Chemirani, one of the key figures in promoting the ancient and sophisticated Iranian musical culture in Europe. Bijan is continuing his father’s intensive concert and teaching activities, maintaining a close connection with Persian classical traditions while also developing a contemporary interpretation of his roots through encounters with other musical cultures. Notably, he annually participates in the renowned ethnomusicology workshops at the Cini Foundation in Venice.
