The “paranzella” is the ancient band that brought music and ritual to village festivals and private occasions. Our task is to continue this ancient tradition by performing the local repertoire of the Marche and Abruzzo regions in the streets, in homes, among the people, without a stage. Paranzella Piceno Aprutina is a collective of singers, musicians, young and old, who carry on the traditional sound transmitted orally in the border area between Marche and Abruzzo.
